Since its inception, the Foundation has donated approximately $150,000 to Yale University to create a permanent academic memorial to Michael’s artistic legacy with the endowment of the Michael Manzella Scholarship.
As a result, a scholarship in Michael’s name will forever be awarded to a deserving Yale student who has “expressed a desire to major in the performing arts, preferably music composition or performance.
The Foundation is deeply and perpetually grateful to Michael’s friends, classmates, and family, whose generosity enabled this unique memorial to a truly remarkable individual.
Future contributions to the Michael Manzella Endowment will continue to increase the level of financial aid provided to deserving students and the Foundation intends to continue its program of regular contributions to support this goal. We particularly encourage Michael’s fellow alumni to direct their annual Yale donations to the Michael Manzella Endowment as they will received full credit for such donations while further enhancing Michael’s legacy.
